Representatives of Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Environment and Water and a delegation from the program partners: Norwegian Environment Agency (NEA), Norwegian Directorate of Water Resources and Energy (NVE), National Energy Authority of Iceland (OS), Office of the Financial Mechanism, as well as a representative of the Embassy of Kingdom of Norway in Bucharest, visited nursery №3 today. They were welcomed by the deputy mayor Yordanka Ananieva, the director of the nursery and part of the project team.
The progress of the implementation of the project for the utilization of geothermal energy for heating and cooling in the nursery was followed, also the objectives of the project, the main activities and the expected results after the successful implementation were presented to the participants.
The representatives found that the activities in the children’s facility are carried out on time and are in line with the schedule of their small residents, with the goal being that they can enjoy the newly built clean source of heat in the next heating season at the latest.
