On July 14, 2022 a seminar and training was held in the city of Burgas with the exchange of knowledge and good practices in the management of sustainable energy. The event was held in implementation of the projects “Modernization of the street lighting system of 22 areas, including the main road arteries of the city of Burgas”, Grant agreement №BGENERGY-2.001-0072-002 and ” Implementation of RES through the construction of a geothermal heat pump installation and reconstruction of a heating installation at Nursery №3, Burgas”, Grant agreement №BGENERGY-1.002-0004-C02, which are implemented with the financial support of the Program “Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security” under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (FM of the EEA) 2014-2021
A training and seminar was held to present the experience of Burgas Municipality in the field of sustainable energy supplies and the use of RES with an emphasis on the use of geothermal energy. The experience and good practices of the partner Norsk Energy in the field of geothermal energy and on the topic “Energy efficiency, energy communities” were also presented.
Within the framework of the visit, the Partners from Norsk Energi visited nursery №3, where the construction of a geothermal heat pump installation and the reconstruction of the heating installation are about to start. The team presented the project activities, expected results, as well as the current state of the heating installation.
